About Us. Home Sweet Home Care is an independently owned
and operated private duty non-medical home care agency. We
are licensed as a home care agency by the state of Illinois,
license # 3000130. For over seven years, our staff has been
assisting clients in Western Springs, La Grange, Hinsdale, Oak
Brook, Oak Park, River Forest, Elmhurst, Chicago, IL and the
surrounding communities.
Our Caregivers. Most of our caregivers have been with us for
more than three years. When adding new caregivers to our staff,
we only consider those who have had prior experience and
impeccable references. As part of our rigorous hiring process, we
check criminal background reports, DMV reports, employment
references, social security numbers and more. An RN is
available to perform case openings and monitor care plans.
Training. As part of the employment process, new caregivers
are trained in universal precautions, Alzheimer's and dementia
care, and diabetes management. Throughout the year,
caregivers receive ongoing training in a variety of topics that
affect the elderly.
