About Us
Home Sweet Home Care is an independently owned and operated private duty non-medical home care agency. We are licensed as a home services agency by the state of Illinois, license # 3000130. For over 13 years, our staff has assisted clients in La Grange, Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Oak Park, River Forest, Elmhurst, Chicago, IL and the surrounding communities. Our Caregivers
The majority of our caregivers have been with Home Sweet Home Care for over five years. When adding new employees to our staff, we only consider those who have had prior home care experience and have impeccable references. As part of our rigorous hiring process, we check fingerprints against a national criminal database, request DMV reports, personally speak with former employers, check social security numbers, and more. As part of the employment process, new caregivers receive eight hour of training in universal precautions, elder abuse, emergency preparedness, patient confidentiality, and infection prevention in the home. Throughout the year, caregivers receive eight additional hours of training in a variety of topics that affect the elderly. A registered nurse is available to perform case openings and monitor care plans. |
Our Territory
Our office is located in downtown La Grange above the La Grange Theater. We service clients within a 15- mile radius of La Grange. The territory includes Oak Park, River Forest, Chicago, La Grange, Hinsdale, Palos Heights, Oak Lawn and all the surrounding suburbs.
